In 2002, the founding team of Dafon pioneered the design and development of China’s first horizontal diesel disc mining saw. This revolutionary machine overcame the limitations of traditional blasting methods, which were destructive, hazardous, and inefficient. By dramatically increasing stone yield and safety, it laid the groundwork for large-scale, modern quarrying operations and marked a transformative shift from rough extraction to precise, high-efficiency mining practices.
First Automated KerbStone Production Line
In 2018, the global mining industry experienced widespread shutdowns, creating a severe labor shortage in the stone sector, while rapid urbanization drove soaring demand for kerbstones. At the time, production was constrained by outdated and inefficient equipment.
In response, Dafon introduced China’s first high-performance automated kerbstone production line. Through extensive design, testing, and refinement, this breakthrough not only solved labor and efficiency challenges but also established a new benchmark for the industry, transforming kerbstone manufacturing into a safer, faster, and more precise process.
